SPITZNER ENGINEERS GmbH

The Engineering Office of SPITZNER ENGINEERS is a cross cluster for the aerospace and wind energy industries.

We are specialized in the design and dimensioning of lightweight structures made of composites, especially CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced plastics) and modern metal alloys. Design, calculation, aerodynamics and also electric heating systems are our main areas of expertise. Starting with the idea generation and registration worldwide rights, we develop innovative and intelligent products, carry out the required admission tests and aid on the way to certification in accordance with international standards.

In the context of publicly funded research collaborative projects with the wind power industry and academia, we have developed new components and systems to improve efficiency and monitoring of wind turbines:

ADIOS – Anti and De-ice Operating System

Best blades – aerodynamically optimized rotor blade

As a project partner in the aeronautics research programme LUFO IV / V, we create concepts and studies for future aircraft structures and develop new manufacturing technologies for carbon fiber components. The combination of air and wind power is our basis for innovation.
